Press Release for the OpenMRS Training in Bangkok
The National Telehealth Center conducted an OpenMRS Training in the first FOSS (Free and Open Source Software)Training Program held under the asupices of the PANACeA Annual Meeting last February 5-7, 2010 at the Royal Princess Hotel Larn Luang in Bangkok, Thailand. Participants came from India, Sri Langka, Nepal, Malaysia, Indonesia, Pakistan and the Philippines. The training was facilitated by Prof. Ariel Betan, Mr. Diosdado Calmada, Dr. Arthur Manzon and Dr. Alvin Marcelo.
PANACeA or the Pan-Asian Collaboration for Evidence-Based eHealth Adoption and Application “is an initiative to generate evidence in the field of eHealth within the Asian context, by forming a network of researchers and research projects from developing Asian countries(http://www.panacea-ehealth.net/).”
