UPM-NThC conducts knowledge transfer with HISP Vietnam

From March 28 to 29, the University of the Philippines Manila National Telehealth Center (UPM-NThC) sent one of its developers to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam to conduct knowledge transfer with Health Information Systems Programme (HISP) Vietnam.
UPM-NThC shared its experience in the installation of electronic medical records both for community health and hospital-based purposes. HISP Vietnam, on the other hand, shared their experience on the use of public health monitoring information systems and the use of mobile phones for reporting.
HISP Vietnam is a non-profit organization funded mainly by the University of Oslo. They support the technical operations of the international HISP organization. At the same time, they also perform installations and support health information systems in Vietnam.
