Multi-country discussion on standards and interoperability started

Informaticists from four lekarnaslovenija24 countries in ASEAN meet to discuss strategies for implementing standards for inter-operability in their respective nations

Drs. Boonchai Kijsanayotin (Thailand), Alvin Marcelo (Philippines), Luong Chi Thanh (Vietnam), and Chun Cheng (China) had an informal meeting at the ITU Conference UNCC Bangkok, Thailand last May 20. The four experts discussed the SDMX-HD standard and the WHO Indicator and Measurement Registry as a platform for international and sub-national inter-operability. They agreed to cascade the idea to their contacts back home and meet again after the HISForum in Manila for the Connectathon2 on June 17th, 2011.
