Former NTHC Director Talks on Improving Patient Experience Through eHealth

Dr. Inocencio Maramba, former director of the National Telehealth Center (2004-2006), delivered a lecture on “Improving the Patient Experience of Primary Care”  through eHealth at the Community Oriented Medical Education (COME) Conference Rm.  this July 3, 9AM.

Dr. Maramba explains his research experience in the University of Exeter, England.

Dr. Maramba finished his BS Biology and Medical Degree at the University of the Philippines. He joined served as faculty of the UP College of Medicine and was awarded a scholarship to study for a MSc in Health Information Science at the University of Warwick in England.

In 2006, he became E-Health E-Learning Facilitator at the Faculty of Health, University of Plymouth.

He is now Associate Research Fellow at the Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry, University of Exeter and Plymouth.

Among his research interest are on Health Informatics, E-Health, Quantitative Data Analysis in Health, E-Learning for Health Professions Education and Open Source Software for Healthcare.
