NThC conducted Second Level 1 OpenMRS Training Course
A press release for the Second Level 1 OpenMRS Training Course
The National Telehealth Center has just conducted successfully its second Level 1 OpenMRS Training Course last January 13, 2010 at the COME Conference Room, UP College of Medicine. In addition to previous topics covered, new topics were included in the second offering. These topics were discussed by invited guests and they included: relevant Department of Health policies regarding electronic health records (EHR) which was given by Ms. Florinda G. Tuvillo of the National Center for Health Facility Development; technical considerations for an electronic health record from the Department of Health which was given by Ms. Emily Razal and IT Trends at PhilHealth which was given by Mr. Bobby Crisostomo of the Philippine Health Insurance Corp. A mixture of IT professionals and medical professionals participated in this course.
