Writing up the roadmap for ICT in the University
The National Telehealth Center, represented by Drs. Alvin Marcelo and Alex Gavino, participated in the drafting of the information systems strategic plan (ISSP) of UP Manila. The last ISSP of UPM was 1999-2004 through the leadership of Dr. Ayedee Domingo. Since 2005, there was no ISSP to guide the constituents on how to integrate ICT into their institutional strategies. This current ISSP, led by Prof Roli Talamapas of the Information Management Services (IMS), is envisioned to clarify how the university aims to leverage ICT to push forward its agenda.
Other participants were VC Dada Leopando, Dr. John Solon of CPH, Mr. Ed Bon of the University Library, Mr. Richard Bryann Chua of CAS and IPPAO.
