NThC To Collaborate with DOH On Geolocate4Health Contest
In an effort to achieve a comprehensive database of health care facilities, the National Telehealth Center seeks out the assistance of Doctors to the Barrios with the approval of DOH Secretary Esperanza I. Cabral.
Using Google Map maker, mapping will include government hospitals, private hospitals, rural health units/local health centers, lying-in clinics, barangay health stations, private clinics, special health facilities such as dialysis clinics, stand-alone laboratories and radiology centers, blood banks and drugstores, in any area in the Philippines.
A BlackBerry phone will be awarded to the top contributor at the end of the contest. This contest will start on February 1 and will end on May 31, 2010.
