UPM-NThC to join International Telemedicine Workshop
Dr. Alex Gavino, Coordinator for Telehealth Services of the University of the Philippines Manila – National Telehealth Center, attends the “International Training Worshop on Telemedicine Network Design, Development & Application” sponsored by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China and organized by the Yunnan SUNPA Image Tele Tech Co Ltd. This workshop aims to increase the awareness of developing countries on the practice of telemedicine in China. Held at Kun Ming City in the Province of Yunnan, the workshop will run from 19 October to 7 November 2009. The following countries are represented in this annual training: Algeria, Bolivia, Brazil, Pakistan, Philippines, Poland, South Africa and Uganda.
