WHAT’S HOT ON eHEALTH: rCHITS conducts MInTS, BiRTS Training, caters QC health workers

National Telehealth Center (NTHC) successfully conducted the Mag-Ina Telereferral System (MInTS) and Birth Registration Tracking System (BiRTS) Training for the first batch of Quezon City health workers last February 15 and 16.

MInTS aims to strengthen the service delivery network of maternal and neonatal referral and feedback process between health facilities. Meanwhile, the BiRTS intends for easier birth registration through digital form from rCHITS to Local Civil Registry (LCR).

District II Nurse Supervisor Angelyn Curada commended the system and encouraged co-health workers on continuous use of MInTS, BiRTS and even CHITS. “Ito ay machine lang, ang good quality data ay nakasalalay pa rin sa [ating] nag-e-encode,” Curada added.

The MInTS and BiRTS Training is until March 10 with cooperation of Quezon City Health Department and Quezon City Government. MiNTS and BiRTS are part of rCHITS Quezon City component or Real-Time Monitoring of Key Maternal and Child Health Indicators through the use of Community Health Information Tracking System supported by Joint Programme on Maternal and Neonatal Health (JPMNH).
