NTHC to Participate in 9th Knowledge Exchange Conference (KEC9)
Pasay City — The 9th Knowledge Exchange Conference (KEC9) will commence from July 22 & 23, 2014 at the Century Park Hotel Manila and July 24, 2014 at the National Science and Technology Week Celebration at SMX Mall of Asia, Pasay City. Community eCenters (CeC), Knowledge Workers, ICT for Development Practitioners, Content Developers, Service Providers and other stakeholders will gather for this 3-day conference.
KEC9, organized by DOST-ICTO and the Philippine Community eCenter Network, will be held with the theme of “The Creation of the eFilipino: Smarter Communities for Inclusive Growth and Development.”
NTHC will be part of this much awaited event. Dr. James Salisi, Research Associate of the rCHITS-UNICEF project, will present eHealth content and NTHC services like RxBox, CHITS, etc. on July 22, 2014 from 11:00 – 11:45 AM at the Plenary Session #2 entitled “eGovernment Services Direct to the People.”
Mr. Arturo Ongkeko, Jr., CHITS Project Coordinator in Navotas, will deliver NTHC’s experiences, challenges, learnings, and innovations on the use of ICT in health, emphasizing areas of content information and service delivery on July 23, 2014 from 2:00 – 2:45 PM at the Parallel Session on CeC in Health and Disaster Management.
